    Application range of induction heating transformer

    The multi turn ratio induction heating transformer (hereinafter referred to as transformer) is mainly used for the induction heating of medium frequency, supersonic frequency and high frequency and induction heating of elbow pipe, welding, hot rolling diathermy and so on, which can reduce the voltage for the induction heating, and the isolation and impedance are matched to each other.

    Characteristics

    The transformer has potting and non potting types. According to the different usage and frequency of the transformer, the magnetic circuit can adopt silicon steel iron core, amorphous alloy, ferrite and so on. The transformer winding coil adopts water cooling system, and the coil adopts overlapping structure. In order to meet the different requirements of customers, the primary and secondary transformer can combine different turn ratio.

    Working conditions

    1?It needs water for cooling, the pressure of the cooling water needs to be 0.4MPa-0.6MPa, and there shall be no sundry in the water.

    The cooling water needs to meet the following requirements:

    PH value:                 7-8.5

          Suspended solid:          <10mg/L

          Basicity                   <60mg/L

          Chloridion          average<60mg/L,maximum<220mg/L

         Sulphate ion:                <100mg/L

           Iron ion:                   <2mg/L

         Solubility si02:               <6mg/L

         Solubility solid:               <300mg/L

         Electric conductivity:          <500us/cm

     Hardness:     charged body   <10Ca0mg  equivalent

                      uncharged body  <60Ca0mg  equivalent

    2?When the transformer is working, constant water supply shall be guaranteed, the inlet temperature of the water shall be no more than 35?, and the outlet temperature shall be no more than 60?.

    Electrical connection of transformer

    When the transformer is delivered to customers, there shall be enough connection straps, and the transformer turn ratio adjustment diagram shall be provided so that users can connect the turn ratio according to it. 

    Water circuit connection of transformer

    Transformer is delivered to customers with detailed water circuit connection diagram. The water inlet and outlet of the whole series transformers adopt fast-changing coupler, which is convenient to change transformer.

    Maintenance of transformer

    The common faults of the transformer include: 1) Short circuit caused by coils isolation breakdown. 2) Coil burn-out because of cooling water shortage, which is caused by poor water quality or high temperature of input water. 3) Damage due to bad contact, such as the connection strap is too tight or too loose. 4) Damage due to serious heat caused by bad contact, which is because there are too much oxide on the surface of the transformer secondary connection plate. 5) Damage of transformer magnetic circuit caused by improper frequency when users use the transformer. We can install flow protection switch and temperature protection switch or sensors to protect the transformer. When the transformer is in use, we shall usually check the water quality, and replace the water which has become bad in time, if the pipeline has incrustation scale, it shall be cleaned in time and supplied with qualified cooling water. When checking the transformer, we shall pay attention that whether the temperature of the transformer turn ratio connecting piece and the transformer secondary output stage plate is too high and we shall carry out a real-time processing..
